Autumn 2024 Flu and Covid Autumn Boosters - Save the dates!

The new campaign providing this year’s autumn boosters for Flu and Covid starts in October (for all healthcare providers, including pharmacies). 

We are running two clinics for all our eligible patients – please save these dates in your diary!

  • Saturday 12th October (am and pm)
  • Saturday 26th October (am and pm)

We're not allowed to book this for you yet, so please don't call the surgery (we're planning to send an invitation to all eligible patients in the week of 9th September). 

The practice does receive additional funding to provide these vaccinations, so we very much appreciate your support in booking with us if you can. We look forward to seeing you then!

 

Eligibility 

For this campaign you are considered eligible as set out below. If you are in these groups, we will invite you for vaccination.

Flu

  • All adults aged 65 years and over (as at 31 March 2025)
  • Children aged 2 to 18years (nasal Flu vaccine)
  • All adults 18 to 64years in Clinical Risk Groups and close household contacts
  • Pregnant women
  • Care Home residents and Staff
  • Carers (please notify us)
  • Frontline health and social care workers (please notify us)

Covid

  • All adults aged 65 years and over (as at 31 March 2025)
  • All aged 6 to 64years in Clinical Risk Groups
  • Care Home residents and Staff
  • Frontline health and social care workers (please notify us)
