The NHS believes that good access is not just about getting an appointment when patients need it. It is also about access to the right person, providing the right care, in the right place, at the right time. This has led to what is known as
‘Improved Access’, which gives greater choice to all patients about when they are seen.
What does this mean for Horfield Health Centre? Simply that we have re-structured our appointment times. There are now:
Morning telephone appointments with a GP from 7:30am on certain days.
Evening appointments with a GP, Practice Nurse, Healthcare Assistant or Urgent Care Clinician available until 8pm every week
Saturday appointments with a GP, Practice Nurse, Healthcare Assistant or Urgent Care Clinician between 8:15 and 12:15 every week
