It is clear that rates of covid infection are rising across England, and in the Horfield area too.
We have recently had a staff member return a positive test, as a result of which several colleagues will now have to self-isolate for 14 days. This has an impact upon the surgery and we would like to apologise if this means we have not been able to respond to any query as quickly as we would ordinarily like.
Please do your part to keep infection rates as low as possible.
In particular please ensure:
· You only come to the Health Centre for a pre-booked appointment and only if it is strictly necessary. Please help us to deal with as much as possible by telephone or video consultation, or by e-mail or e-consult.
· You abide by all of the government rules currently in force. In particular, please make sure you
o Keep 2 metres apart from other people at all times;
o Wear a face covering when you are outside your house
o Wash your hands thoroughly throughout the day
o Use hand sanitiser wherever and whenever possible
o Make sure you follow the latest government guidelines for your area
· You are patient and kind to everyone else – we are all feeling the strain at the moment, and a little kindness goes a long way.
