Horfield Health Centre has a dedicated and friendly team of Patient Co-ordinators who want to help you. They are ably managed by Sally Kowalski and Kulpna Mistry.
The rest of the team are: Jessica Acreman, Nicola Brimble, Tanya Bullock, Elaine Davis, Chloe Heavens, Nigel Maggs, Sharon Rogers, Louise Sharpe, Paula Songu, Christine Morgan and Maddie Champion.
At times the surgery and telephone lines are very busy. Please bear with us as we try and deal with the variety of requests patients make.
The Patient Co-ordinators may ask you for information about your symptoms. That helps them offer you the most appropriate service. All information you give will be handled with sensitivity and confidentiality,
Our experienced medical secretaries (Charlotte, Jennifer, Elle and Jess) deal with all your hospital appointment enquiries and referrals. They have a wealth of experience in general practice and ensure that effective communications between doctors, patients and anyone else are maintained.
A lot of our administration work is carried out by staff who also have other roles in the practice. They process the huge amount of incoming documents that allows the medical staff to do their jobs. Our team of Administrators are Michele, Georgia, Dan and Huw.
The Practice Team work to ensure the smooth running of the Health Centre. They sort out all the non-clinical work. This includes looking after the property, sorting out the IT and telecoms equipment, managing our staff team, and maintaining practice finances. The picture needs to be updated to show all the people listed below.
Although their roles are not usually patient facing, they are available at any time to answer questions you may have.
